International Engagement – Principles and Guidance

Now more than ever, engaging, working and posting online is an essential part of our every day. Through the use of social media, communications apps, online forums and email we interact with friends, colleagues and partners. These tools are a positive way to promote our work and to express our academic freedom and freedom of speech. These tools also enable us to be part of online communities, build an online following and provide great opportunities to share our research and perspectives, whether in a professional or personal capacity.

As information and data flow globally, we need to also be aware of the online risks which can lead to international risks.  Watch our video on Our Online Presence on the University Staff Hub to find out more about keeping your online interactions safe
